At Apogee Gulf Coast, our children learn in a collaborative environment of multi-age young leaders. Our flexible approach challenges each young leader with their own learning plan and inspires them through real-world projects and experiences.
Our student driven community puts children at the center of their learning, allowing them to create and accomplish personal goals.
1. CORE ACADEMIC SKILLS
Master the foundations of reading,
writing, and math. Explore science and value social studies.
Use real-life application for all subjects.
2. HANDS ON PROJECTS
Master the skills needed to solve real-world problems by
planning, creating, collaborating and failing forward.
3. SOCRATIC DISCUSSIONS
Socratic discussions hone critical thinking and speaking abilities.
4. SERVANT LEADERSHIP
Learn to value the power of a community centered on
respect, integrity and collaboration.
5. REAL PHYSICAL FITNESS
Real physical fitness, daily, to build strong bodies and strong minds. Recess is not enough.
6. JOBS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On campus for our younger leaders and the option for off campus internships and apprenticeships for our older learners.
OUTCOMES
MASTERY OF CORE ACADEMIC SKILLS
Our students will master core skills in Reading, Writing and Math at their optimal pace. They will capture the wonder of Science and value of Social Studies and appreciate real-life application of the subject matter they study.
A LOVE FOR LEARNING
Our learners are nurtured in their innate curiosity, interests, and strengths, fostering a lifelong passion for learning. Through a Socratic method, they develop critical thinking, exploration, and research skills. Empowered with a growth mindset, they embrace mistakes, risks, and challenges, propelling continual learning and growth.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
Our students will gain a value for healthy, meaningful relationships and the tools to build them wherever they go.
