Apogee Gulf Coast Founder, brings over 20 years of dedicated experience in education, where her passion for student success has been the driving force behind her career. Holding two master’s degrees, she has specialized as an Educational Diagnostician and Education Administrator, playing a critical role in identifying and supporting the unique needs of students to help them achieve their full potential.
As a wife, mother of six, and grandmother to four, Tammi understands the importance of balancing empathy and structure in guiding students toward success. Her approach to education emphasizes hands-on projects and real-world learning opportunities, ensuring that students not only gain knowledge but also develop practical skills and critical thinking abilities that will serve them throughout their lives.
Tammi is a visionary leader with a talent for strategic planning and a commitment to preparing students for bright futures. She believes in the transformative power of education and actively promotes creative, student-centered initiatives that inspire lifelong learning. Whether she’s collaborating with educators, working directly with students, or planning for the future, Tammi’s passion for education is evident in everything she does.
Above all, Tammi is a devoted follower of Jesus, and her faith guides her personally and professionally. She leads with integrity, compassion, and a servant’s heart, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves.

Robin’s career has taken her across the globe, traveling with Presidents of the United States, corporate leaders, and hardworking individuals. These experiences have afforded her invaluable insights into diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching her understanding of people and shaping her leadership philosophy. Her global travels have taught her the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and empathy, values that are deeply embedded in her personal and professional life.
In addition to her extensive professional accomplishments, Robin’s faith is at the core of everything she does. A devoted follower of Jesus, she strives to lead with integrity, humility, and a servant’s heart. For Robin, true success is not measured solely by career milestones but by the positive and lasting impact she has on others and the world around her.
Though her career has been richly fulfilling, Robin continues to look forward to the adventures and opportunities still ahead. There are still a few items on her bucket list, and she approaches the future with enthusiasm, curiosity, and an unshakable belief in the power of faith, determination, and purpose.
With a passion for agricultural sciences and hands-on teaching methods, Craig is dedicated to inspiring a love for learning, cultivating practical skills, and instilling a deep appreciation for the agricultural industry. He excels in developing and implementing curriculum plans, supervising agricultural field experiences, and conducting ongoing assessments to track student achievement. His ability to deliver engaging presentations, manage time effectively, and foster collaboration makes him a valuable asset in any educational setting.
He is married to Misty Kettler, who is also a Sam Houston graduate and a lifelong educator. She is currently a librarian at McNair Junior High in Alvin ISD. They have two kids who are both in college in Texas. Cody, the oldest, is at Texas A&M working on his PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics. Gracey, their athlete, is playing water polo at Austin College in Sherman and working on a degree in Environmental Science. When they are not traveling to watch her play or see Cody in College Station, Mr. Craig can be caught out in the field working cattle or baling hay.
Now, Craig is thrilled to join Apogee Gulf Coast and share his love of science and agriculture with students. He looks forward to engaging young minds in hands-on learning experiences, fostering curiosity, and helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. His unwavering commitment to student success and his passion for the agricultural industry make him an exceptional educator and mentor.

Yordanka holds a Master’s Diploma in Preschool and Primary Education from Sofia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Cairo University. Her journey as an educator has taken her from leading outdoor environmental programs in New Haven to designing literacy-rich workshops for marginalized youth in Cairo.
Her path to Texas—and to Apogee—was an unexpected one, sparked by love and shared purpose. After following her husband, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu martial artist, to Gracie Barra Texas, Yordanka joined the academy as Program Director. There, she witnessed the transformative power of discipline, focus, humility, and community that martial arts offers—and recognized deep parallels with her own educational values. Just as Jiu-Jitsu teaches through repetition, reflection, and resilience, Yordanka believes language learning is an embodied process that grows through persistence, curiosity, and self-discovery.
In the classroom, she is committed to cultivating a love of reading and writing by creating safe, expressive spaces for students to explore language, think critically, and find their voice. She believes that storytelling and communication are essential tools for agency and connection—and she works every day to help students develop both with confidence.
Outside of teaching, Yordanka is an avid bread maker who sees baking as an extension of learning: creative, hands-on, and rooted in patience and observation. She looks forward to sharing this passion with the school community—through workshops, literary projects inspired by food, or quiet moments over warm, homemade loaves.
Fluent in five languages, Yordanka brings cultural depth and inclusivity to her teaching, encouraging students to see language not just as a subject but as a bridge to understanding the world and themselves.
In 2024, Rae realized her dream of owning a bookstore, Rae’s Reads, where she also teaches “Perfecting Your Writing.” After 56 years of teaching reading, writing, and English across various institutions, including the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), she has embraced a new chapter with Apogee School. Rae holds a BA in English and Speech from the University of Houston and an MA in Literature from UH Clear Lake, alongside recent studies at Hillsdale College.
Tim Kennedy is a decorated Special Forces veteran and a well-known figure in mixed martial arts, having competed in the UFC. His experience in challenging environments has shaped his approach to leadership and resilience. Beyond his military and sports career, Tim is passionate about education and personal development, focusing on teaching leadership and responsibility. As one of the founders of Apogee Gulf Coast, Tim integrates life skills into education, inspiring students to achieve their full potential by combining discipline and creativity
Beyond the ring and the military, Tim is deeply invested in shaping the minds and characters of young leaders. He has taken on the role of educator and advocate, focusing on teaching leadership, resilience, and self-defense through various community projects and as part of the Apogee Gulf Coast’s founding team. His approach integrates life skills into traditional learning, encouraging students to rise above challenges and develop a keen sense of responsibility and self-awareness.
Matt Beaudreau is an educator and speaker dedicated to transforming education. With experience as a school administrator, Matt has focused his career on student-centered learning and innovation. He is a co-founder of Apogee Gulf Coast, where he champions an educational model that emphasizes real-world skills and individualized learning. As a speaker, Matt engages audiences nationwide, advocating for a future-oriented education system that prepares students for success beyond the classroom.
